Step-by-step guide

  1. 1Confirm whether the opening is new construction or a replacement.
  2. 2For a replacement, measure hinge locations from the stated top reference to the top of each hinge preparation.
  3. 3Measure the lock centerline from the same stated reference and record the reference used.
  4. 4Do not mix edge, centerline, and top-of-preparation measurements; submit a photo when uncertain.
